Scottish Government toilets and associated washing facilities information: FOI release
Information requested
Please list the buildings where Scottish Government staff work, where the Scottish Government is responsible for ensuring legal duties about the provision of toilets and associated washing facilities are met under The Workplace (Health, Safety, and Welfare) Regulations 1992.
Please also provide information on what proportion of toilets in these buildings are provided in the form where each toilet is in a separate room, lockable from the inside, with a wash-hand basin, intended for the use of one person at a time:
(a) in total and
(b) within each of these buildings separately: Victoria Quay, St Andrews House, Saughton House, Atlantic Quay (all locations), Marine Scotland Laboratories (Aberdeen)
(c) any other buildings for which the information is held centrally.
If toilets specifically designated as for disabled use are included, please state what the proportion figure would be if these were excluded.

The Scottish Government estate is made up of 66 owned and leased sites, including offices, stores and buildings in the field.
There are a total of 1,016 toilet facilities available across the Scottish Government core estate. Of the total number of toilet facilities, 18% of these are provided in the form where a toilet is in a separate room, lockable from the inside, with a wash-hand basin, intended for use of one person at a time.
All accessible toilets across the Scottish Government core estate are gender neutral.
