I am writing to request the following information under FOI:
The total spend by the Scottish Government on Tesla in each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025 to date. Please provide a breakdown of each purchase.
The total spend by the Scottish Government on Starlink in each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025 to date. Please provide a breakdown of each purchase.
The total spend by the Scottish Government on Space X in each of the calendar years 2023, 2024 and 2025 to date. Please provide a breakdown of each purchase.

Tesla
The table below contains the information requested on spend by the Scottish Government with Tesla. The information is broken down by calendar year, with information included until May 31st of 2025.

Starlink
The answer to your question is contained in the table below. Amounts are inclusive of the last billing cycle paid, which is May 2025. There are charges for the hardware and monthly subscription fees pertinent to the Core Scottish Government Starlink installation. There are similar charges for an installation serving the Marine Directorate which enables connectivity of ships out at sea.
