List of buildings owned by the Scottish Government which are not in use as of today.

For each of these buildings, please provide:

1. Name

2. Location

3. Annual maintenance expense since 2015

4. Size

5. Last use purpose

Response

The Scottish Government has identified one building that meets the criteria of your request. It is a store on the Marine Science campus, at Torry, Aberdeen that has been secured and out of use for operational activity since October 2023. It is earmarked for demolition which will be taking place soon. In the interim, it has been used as storage but the items that were stored there were removed on 31st July 2024.

1. Store (also known as Building K)

2. Marine Science Campus, Torry, Aberdeen.

3. Maintenance of the campus is priced as a whole without any breakdown on the costs associated with individual buildings.
