Cladding Assurance Register data: EIR release
Information requested
An idea of how many properties are registered and how many identified properties with cladding have still to be recorded plus any other anonymous data you feel able to release at this stage.
Response
As the Register, and indeed the Act, went live relatively recently (on 6 January 2025) there is currently a relatively low number of entries contained within it and, in fact, I can confirm that at the time of writing there is one entry on the Register. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide more detailed information regarding the entry, in keeping with the general policy of the Scottish Government to safeguard the addresses and protect the identity of individual buildings within the Cladding Remediation Programme.
In response to the second part of your query, asking how many identified properties with cladding have still to be recorded, information on the overall number of buildings that are in the pilot phase of the Cladding Remediation Programme is published and updated quarterly on the following Scottish Government webpage: https://www.gov.scot/publications/single-building-assessment-spending-information/
Regarding any other data, please note that the Act contains, in Sections 30-31, requirements for the Scottish Government to report to the Scottish Parliament on a regular basis, the first such report being required 18 months after commencement of the Act (which occurred on 6 January 2025). As such there is no additional data that I can to provide to you at the present time and I refer you to Section 31 of the Act as this contains further information on what the Scottish Government will be required to report on in due course.
