St Gabriel’s RC Primary School inspection: FOI release
Information requested
The most recent inspection report for St Gabriel’s RC Primary School, Prestonpans, East Lothian. If no recent report exists, I would like confirmation of the date of the last inspection and whether a new inspection is planned.
Response
St Gabriel’s RC Primary School was last inspected in May 2010. The report of this inspection is included at annex A.
Each year, schools are selected for inspection on a sampling basis. The sampling approach uses established criteria, which includes the length of time since last inspection. St Gabriel’s RC Primary School would be considered for inspection as part of that sampling process. Schools receive written notification 2½ weeks before the start of an inspection.
