1. A list of all meetings between the consultancy firm Global Counsel and directors or senior civil servants within the authority in the time period 1 January 2022–present.

For each meeting, please also provide

list of attendees full meeting minutes any related correspondences, written, by email or orally delivered (if recorded).

2. All written correspondence between Global Counsel and directors or senior civil servants within the authority in the time period 1 January 2022–present. This includes letters and email.

Response

For part 1, there was one meeting on 11 February 2026 between:

Nick Leake, Scottish Government Deputy Director - EU Directorate; and David Reed, Global Counsel Group Director for Europe and Head of Brussels Office.

This was an informal meeting and no official notes were recorded.

For part 2, while our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because a search of our records did not find any relevant information.
