Calculation showing projection of GDP: FOI release
Information requested
In a speech delivered on 6th January 2025, John Swinney said this:
“And have no doubt, the direct investment we have chosen to make to tackle poverty contributes, in its own right, to a stronger economy, providing a boost to Scotland’s GDP, in the short-term, of as much as £330 million.”
Please provide the calculations and sources justifying the £330m figure mentioned above.
