Teachers Remedy statement statistics: FOI release
Information requested
1) Please send me the number of teachers waiting for remedy statements as of December, 21, 2024.
2) Please send me the number of teachers waiting for the resolution of revoked, early retirement buyout reduction, ERRBO payments.
3) Please send me the minutes of the pension scheme advisory board meeting on 18th December, 2024.
Response
1) An assumption has been made that this is in reference to Teachers Immediate Choice members.
Approximately 17,000 are awaiting a Remedy statement as of December 21, 2024.
2) For Teachers scheme, there are 1103 ERRBO Remedy cases.
3) As of 13th January 2025, the minutes of the pension scheme advisory board meeting on 18th December 2024 are not yet available. Once available, they will be published on the SPPA website - Scheme Advisory Board | SPPA
