R100 broadband rollout in Mid Scotland and Fife: FOI release
Information requested
Confirmation on the current status of roll-out of the scheme in Perthshire and Fife – i.e. how many homes and businesses should have the R100 in the area, and an estimated timescale for the roll-out of the remainder of the digital broadband scheme in this area.

Our online checker at www.scotlandsuperfast.com remains the best way to track the most up-to-date connectivity status for individual premises, including the most recent plans and indicative timescales for R100 contract build, as well as eligibility for the R100 Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (R100 SBVS).
R100 contract build in the Fife local authority area is currently scheduled to conclude during 2026. The majority of properties in the Perth & Kinross local authority area are also currently scheduled to be completed during 2026, with the remainder due to be completed during 2028.
