Breakdown of Fujitsu expenditure for public bodies: FOI release

Could you provide the total amount of money the Scottish Government and the organisations it has oversight of, has given to Fujitsu in the last five years, with a breakdown of where the money went, i.e, what contracts etc?

In response to your request, we have provided the required information in Attachment 1 which offers a breakdown of Fujitsu expenditure for all public bodies that the Scottish Government holds data on for the last five financial years (2018 to 2023). Please note that due to the high volume of transactional data it has only been broken down to the relevant spend category which has been taken from the Scottish Government’s Procurement Information Hub. To carry out the necessary analysis of providing the requested detail across 247 transactions would mean that Section 12 of Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) would apply due to the time taken to carry out this analysis which would breach the both the time (60 hours) and cost criteria to collate and analyse. Should you still wish to obtain this data you can submit a further FOI however reducing the parameters e.g. shorter period, only Scottish Government data etc.
