The answer to your question is.
The expenditure was for 42 day tickets (including refund protection) to the Royal Highland Show (RHS) on Thursday 20 June 2024 and the Scottish Governments Food Summit held on 18-29 June 2024. All 42 tickets were procured from 1 supplier.
19 Tickets were obtained for Scottish Government members of staff to attend as Official Support to the Cabinet Secretary for RALRI (Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands) and the Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity at stakeholder meetings and events, as well as support events at the Scottish Government marquee, attending stakeholder meetings and events in their own right. Members of staff also supported International Food Summit attendees at RHS that day.
23 tickets were purchased for non Scottish Government guests who attended the Scottish Government's International Food Summit held over 18-29 June 2024. The international food summit was a Programme for Government commitment. It brought together senior guests from international organisations, European agricultural attachés from London embassies, and Scottish stakeholders as well as Director-level officials from Wales and Northern Ireland.
The aim of the summit was to strengthen international collaboration and to promote food security and the Scottish food and drink sector.
