1. For each financial year since 2020-21, please provide the amount spent on marketing by Brand Scotland, if possible, broken down by category (ie digital, broadcast, print, etc).

2. Please also provide the budgets for this spending in the current and next financial year.

Marketing expenditure, broken down by category for each financial year since 2020-21 can be accessed here Marketing spend - gov.scot. Data for 25-26 is yet to be fully reconciled and will be published in due course.

The total approved Brand Scotland marketing budget for the current financial year 25/26 is £1,188,000. Indicative spend by category is detailed below. Marketing activity is ongoing and budgets will be fully reconciled at the end of the financial year and published here in due course.
