Meetings that have taken place between the Chief Entrepreneur (Mark Logan) and the following organisations during the period from the start of his appointment in July 2022 to July 25th 2024. 1. Meetings with Cosla regarding enterpreneurship and also with Business Gateway team. 2. Meetings with Social Enterprise Scotland. 3. Meetings with Chambers of Commerce. 4. Further to our response to your Freedom of Information request dated 25 July 2024, we have noted that there was an error in relation to some of the information provided. Please accept our apologies for this.
Within the table of meetings provided to you we advised that there had been a meeting in November 2023 between the Chief Entrepreneur and Women's Enterprise Scotland. This was provided in error and whilst there was a meeting held it was not with the organisation per se, but with a board member on a separate matter. As such we were incorrect to have included it as a meeting between the Chief Entrepreneur and Women's Enterprise Scotland.
As a result of this we have undertaken further searches and I can confirm that two additional meetings have been found, as detailed below. With regard to the remainder of your request, the Chief Entrepreneur engages with a wide range of stakeholders and organisations as part of his role. While we have made every effort to provide a comprehensive record of individual meetings, it's important to note that informal interactions or discussions may have occurred during wider events, conferences or other engagements that are not formally documented. The following information reflects the recorded formal meetings with the specified organisations during the requested period, but may not capture every instance of engagement or communication.
