Under reporting of bullying in Scotland's schools: FOI release
Information requested
I require a copy of all information that Education Scotland holds on the under reporting of bullying in Scotland's schools and what actions if any has it has taken or recommended to address this issue.
My request only covers the period since 2022 until present to cover the period Education Scotland has been actively engaged in reviewing progress made since the new guidelines for the recording and monitoring of buying were brought in by the Scottish Government in 2018 to address previous significant concerns about bullying in schools.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information within the Annex because an exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to that information because it is personal data of a third party, and disclosing their personal information would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018.
This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test,’ so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
