Green Jobs Fund briefings: EIR release
Information requested
A copy of all briefings sent to (a) the First Minister, (b) the Deputy First Minister, (c) the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Net Zero and Just Transition and (d) the Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity on the Scottish Government's Green Jobs Fund. I would the period of this request to cover from 1st April 2023 to the present day".
Response
I enclose a copy of briefing note sent to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Net Zero and Just Transition, regarding the Green Jobs Fund, which meets the requirements of the information you requested. Information relating to the Energy Transition Fund and Just Transition Fund have been removed from this attachment, as this information was not requested.
An exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exception is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exception.
