You asked for the briefings, modelling and calculations that were provided to Ministers for approval insupport of the announcement of the Scottish Government response to recommendations to reduce the use of temporary accommodation.
Response
I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 29(1)(a) – formulation or development of Scottish Government policy; 30(b)(i) – free and frank provision of advice; 30(b)(ii) – free and frank exchange of views; 33(1)(b) – commercial interests; and 38(1)(b) – personal data relating to third party of FOISA applies to that information.
In addition, some of the information in the documents has not been provided as it does not constitute “briefings, modelling and calculations” and so is outwith the scope of your request.
