Information requested

The business cases for the Open Market Shared Equity Scheme, the New Supply Shared Equity scheme and the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme.

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The reasons why we don't have the information are explained below.

The Open Market Shared Equity and New Supply Shared Equity schemes were originally launched in 2005 by Communities Scotland. The business cases for their launch are not held by the Scottish Government.

Since the schemes transferred the Scottish Government has carried out two evaluations in 2011 and 2020.

Attached to this response is the Warmer Homes Scotland (HEEPS2) Business Case.
