A. The estimated cost to purchase the medals for police officers in Scotland is £224,878 excluding VAT (£269,745 including VAT)

Q. How many medals does this consist of?

A. 13,555 medals (figure supplied by Police Scotland)

Q. Have these medals been delivered to Police Scotland yet? If not, when are they expected to be delivered?

A. On 25/10/2023 the order for medals was submitted to the medal supplier and subsequent timings are subject to their processes and levels of demand from all eligible services. They will be delivered directly to Police Scotland for distribution.
