Information requested

(i) The staff structure/organogram (giving job titles not names of individuals) for the Deputy First Minister's Office, including both civil service and political staff, and (ii) the wider and complete political staff structure/organogram (special advisors) of the current Scottish Government. The pay grades for each staff member in the Deputy First Minister’s office.

Deputy First Minister (DFM) and Cabinet Secretary for Covid Recovery’s Private Office. Private Secretary – civil service grade C1 Deputy Private Secretary – civil service grade B3 Deputy Private Secretary – civil service grade B3 Assistant Private Secretary – civil service grade A4 Assistant Private Secretary – civil service grade A4

The Private Office staff above work flexibly across portfolio private office teams, as required.

While the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Economy is on maternity leave, the Private Office team for the Cabinet Secretary report to the Deputy First Minister (who is covering the portfolio responsibilities for the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Economy.
