section 46 of Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982, (1982-2023) the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995, section 7, 11 & 13 (1995-2023) section 1 of the Prostitution (Public Places) (Scotland) Act 2007. (2007-2023)

I attach a copy of some of the information you requested. Data for 2020-21 are affected by the pandemic and subsequent court closures and may not be indicative of long term trends. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. We do not hold information relating to arrests. However, you may wish to contact Police Scotland at foi@scotland.police.uk who may be able to help you. The Scottish Government Criminal Proceedings database is not a live system and the latest available information is for the financial year 2020-21. Statistics are presented on the number of people dealt with by the Scottish Criminal Justice System where proceedings have concluded. Information for 2021-22 will not be available until publication of the Criminal Proceedings in Scotland, 2021-22 Statistical Bulletin. This is due to be published later this year.
