Regarding the Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund: 1. How much has been spent on this? 2. How much of it has been allocated to local authorities? 3. How much has been applied for or received by Local Authorities?
Response
Question 1: We do not have a figure for the amount spent on the administration of the Gypsy/Traveller Accommodation Fund. It is managed within the Gypsy/Traveller and Residential Mobile Homes Policy Team as part of their wider work. Questions 2 and 3: The answers to these questions are set out in the table below. Round 1 of the Fund is providing funding for demonstration projects in the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. These projects are now in progress. Payments are made in arrears, based on completed work. Round 2 is for funding available in the years 2023-24 and 2024-5.Proposals for Round 2 have been received and the selection process is in progress.
