Breakdown of vehicle domestic charge point grant scheme: FOI release
Information requested
With regards to the Scottish Government's electric vehicle domestic charge point grant scheme that is administered by the Energy Savings Trust, please provide a table showing the numbers of domestic electric vehicle charge points (i) applied for, and (ii) actually installed (or grant paid out) by month grouped by local authority and split by (a) homeowners and (b) by private tenants since the schemes began until the latest available figure. I am seeking to discern whether homeowners have a higher follow-through rate than private tenants, and how the application rate by private tenants is different to that of homeowners.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not hold some of the information that you have requested. Data on housing tenure of applicants is not collected, and therefore not illustrated within the information that we have provided. We do however have the information detailed in the following tables relating to the number of domestic electric vehicle charge point applications and settled claims, by area. The tables listed below, which detail both applications received, and applications paid, are summary tables that cover the specified time ranges and Local Authorities. Further detailed information can be found in the attached appendices.
