1. I would like to know the costs of lighting the Queensferry bridge, also the projection costs for the evening opening "photocall" by the first minister.

2. And list of suppliers.

1. This request for this information is refused.

An exemption under section 25(1) of Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) applies in this instance.

Section 25(1) of FOISA exempts information from disclosure where the requester can reasonably obtain the information without making a request for it. As such, there is no requirement for Transport Scotland to provide an alternative right of access to this information through the Act.

2. BIG Partnership won a contract to provide communications support services to Transport Scotland in 2016 after an open competition. As a Transport Scotland contractor, BIG was instructed to develop a Media / Worker / Ministerial event and brought in appropriate suppliers:

Speakeasy Productions to support the management of the event. Double Take Projections to help develop and implement projections and lighting - they also used their own suppliers.
