Copies of all correspondence between James Hamilton and Alison Irvine.

To note that we have assumed James Hamilton to mean the former Independent Adviser to the Scottish Government on the Ministerial Code.

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.

An exemption under section 38(1) of FOISA applies to the information you have requested. Information that is considered to be personal information which in this case is personal email addresses; personal telephone numbers; and names of non senior civil service staff, has been withheld.

This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
