How many first class ScotRail train tickets the Scottish Government has bought this 2007? How much money the Scottish Government has spent on first class ScotRail train tickets since 2007?

Response

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

Between 1 April 2018 and 30 June 2024 117 tickets were purchased at a cost of £12,426.26.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The details of rail journeys taken before 1 April 2018 have been deleted in accordance with recordkeeping practice, and therefore we no longer hold information for those journeys. In addition, service provider information for journeys taken after 30 June 2024 is not held. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that we do not hold the information.
