Funding allocated to Third Sector organisations: FOI release
Information requested
How much funding has been allocated from the Scottish Government to the following Organisations, since the fiscal year 2021-22, with a breakdown by fiscal year.
Scottish Women’s Budget Group Scottish Legal Complaints Commission Consumer Panel Competition and Markets Authority Consumer Scotland Children and Young People’s Commissioner Scottish Human Rights Commission Inksters Solicitors Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland Diversity+ Scottish Public Services Ombudsman

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have most of the information you have requested. This is because the only organisation directly funded by the Scottish Government is Consumer Scotland. The Children and Young People’s Commissioner, Scottish Human Rights Commission, and Scottish Public Services Ombudsman are funded by the Scottish Parliament. The Scottish Government does not allocate funding to the Competition and Markets Authority as it is a UK Government body. The remaining listed organisations are third or private sector and are not allocated government funding.
Some of the information you have requested is available on the Scottish Government website. Funding allocated to Consumer Scotland is published in the annual Budget Bill and supporting documents. Information for current and previous financial years is available at www.gov.scot/budget.
