Transport Scotland - Ferry services contract correspondence: FOI release
Information requested
For the period 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024, please provide:
1. All substantive correspondence (including emails and letters) during 2024 between Transport Scotland or the Scottish Government and CalMac Ferries Ltd that discusses the potential, proposed or anticipated direct award of the ferry services contract.
2. Any correspondence during 2024 with CMAL, David MacBrayne Ltd, or other sponsor bodies that relates specifically to the justification, development or approval of a direct award of the ferry services contract.
This request excludes routine operational or scheduling correspondence and is limited to material that substantively addresses the contract award decision.
