Annual cost of concessionary travel schemes: FOI release

Information requested

What is the annual cost of concessionary travel to the Scottish Government? Please provide a breakdown by year since 2018, and by type of concessionary travel (e.g. under 22s free bus travel, 60+ travel etc).

Response

The table attached provides a breakdown per year of costs for Under 22 and ODPS concessionary travel schemes. Please note that for supplier costs, this information is provided for both schemes up to the close of SEAS on 25 September. The reimbursement dates are as at 6 November.
