Previous FOI’s had a row for consolidated Scottish Government spend. Please could you break the Scottish Government spend out into the appropriate directorates for which the spend relates, please?

For example, Digital Directorate, Agricultural and Rural Economy Directorate, Marine Scotland Directorate etc. Here’s a link to all potential directorates – https://www.gov.scot/about/how-governmentis-run/directorates/

Response

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.

We are unable to provide the Scottish Government spend under the directorates to which the spend relates as we do not hold this information broken down by directorate. We only hold the information as total spend for the Scottish Government, which we have included in this response.

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.

Please find the information requested that we do hold at the Annex attached.
