An exemption(s) under section(s) 29 (1)(d) of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested. This exemption states "Information held by the Scottish Administration is exempt information if it relates to the operation of any Ministerial Private Office."
This exemption is subject to the 'public interest test'. Therefore, taking account of all the circumstances of this case, we have considered if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption. We do not consider that releasing Ministerial Private Office email addresses is in the public interest as it may be detrimental to the operation of that office therefore some of the attached documents have been redacted accordingly.
