Information requested

A copy of the Phase One application made by Renfrewshire Council for Regeneration Capital Grant Funding made in June 2022.

Response

The Regeneration Capital Grant Fund (RCGF) is managed in Rounds and Stages, with there being two Stages per Round. Applications submitted in June 2022 relate to Round 10 Stage 1, with Renfrewshire Council's only application being for the following project: St Mirren Regeneration and Wellbeing Masterplan.

I have therefore enclosed a copy of this application, together with a supporting document that the Council also submitted to us with the application.

Section 38(1)(b) - applicant has asked for information that includes personal data of a third party

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to a small amount of the information requested as it includes personal data of a third party i.e. names and contact details of individuals. This information has therefore been redacted, as disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
