Could you please provide the following under Freedom of Information legislation:

When was the A9 discussed during Scottish Government cabinet meetings between 2020 and the present. All emails received by transport ministers from constituents, community groups, and businesses regarding the A9, between the 8 February 2023 and the present day.

Response

When was the A9 discussed during Scottish Government cabinet meetings between 2020 and the present. I can confirm that between 2020 and 5 May 2023 (the date of your request), the A9 was recorded as having been discussed at Cabinet on the following dates:

21 February 2023 7 February 2023 8 December 2020 25 August 2020

All emails received by transport ministers from constituents, community groups, and businesses regarding the A9, between the 8 February 2023 and the present day. Please see attached Annex A with information requested. ​​​​​​​An exception under regulation 11(2) of the EIRs (personal information) applies to some of the information requested because it is personal data of a third party and disclosing it would contravene the data protection principles in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and in section 34(1) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This exception is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exception.​​
