What prompted the amendment at Paragraph 4.101 of the Planning Circular 3/2022.
Response
The answer to your request is that Circular 3/2022 updated and amended Circular 3/2013 on development management procedures, which has now been superseded. A range of amendments were made to the previous circular to ensure the new version reflects legislative changes that have come into force in the intervening period. Circular 3/2013 already included guidance on the required content of planning decision notices (see paragraph 4.98 – 4.101). New paragraph 4.101 in Circular 3/2022 was inserted to ensure this section of the circular accurately reflects the current provisions as regards decision notices. About FOI
