Information requested

Information regarding the Cross-Government Behavioural Insights Network, including a list of government departments, agencies, or public bodies that have participated in the Network in the past 3 years (2022–2025), a list of job titles or departments of individuals who have attended Network meetings on behalf of our department or contingent during that time, and dates of any meetings hosted or attended by our department in relation to the Network, and copies of any associated agendas or summaries.

I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. The reasons why we do not have the information are explained below.

The Scottish Government does not hold the information requested

The Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have asked for because attendance at Network meetings has only been recorded since February 2025. Job titles and departments of individuals who have attended Network meetings are unavailable prior to this time.

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some the information you have requested. This exempts personal data of a third party from disclosure. In the case of the information provided, the names of individuals listed on Network agenda items have been redacted.
